Digitally enhanced reproduction of John Singer Sargent's 'Bacchus' mix-media watercolour. The original was created using a mix of paints, pastels and graphite to produce a wonderfully vibrant and striking piece worthy of the god of festivity and frenzy. Dionysus in the Greek pantheon, and Bacchus in the Roman, the god was primarily associated with grape-harvest, winemaking, orchards and fruit, vegetation and fertility, as well as insanity and ritual.
This artwork is perfectly crafted for premium Giclée printing, with its mix of watercolours and pastels all beautifully captured in high-texture technicolour.

As each piece is custom printed and framed just for you, I'm unable to accept the return of unwanted items. In the rare event of transit damage or misprint issues, please contact me with your order number and a photo of the problem to arrange a speedy replacement.
