Welcome to Modern Mythos Art. I’m Sara Egli, a Scottish artist and photographer with a lifelong love of Greco-Roman history, mythology and art.

That fascination began in childhood and never really left. Over the years, it’s led me to museums, ruins and archaeological sites around the world (often to the great patience of my husband) and eventually, to starting this shop.

Modern Mythos Art is a curated collection of everything I love – from restored antique engravings and dramatic sculpture photography, to exclusive original designs. Each piece is a small tribute to the ancient world, reimagined for the modern home.
