Christmas Cut-off Dates

Below are the recommended purchase-by dates to receive your order in time for Christmas. Please note that these are advised by the couriers, and are not guaranteed. I always encourage purchasing gift items in advance of cut-off dates.

Returns & Replacements

If your order has been damaged or contains a defect, please provide the following information to  hello@modernmythosart.com, and I will arrange a replacement for you as soon as possible:

  1. Your order number.
  2. Clear, detailed photos of the damage (including packaging).
  3. Any additional relevant details, such as handling or weather issues.

If you no longer want your item, you have 14 days to register a return via hello@modernmythosart.com. Once approved, you may return it for a refund or store credit, minus the original shipping. 

All international orders must be returned to the EU returns hub. Pre-paid shipping is not available for the return of unwanted goods. Returns must be sent in original packaging, with tracking. Any returns that arrive with damage or imperfections will not be accepted.  

Shipping

Orders are typically shipped within 2 to 4 business days, and always include tracking (which will be emailed to you upon dispatch).

Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

  • UK: 2-4 business days 
  • USA: 3-7 business days 
  • Europe (EU): 3-7 business days
  • Rest of World: 5-10 business days

These are estimated timelines. Please refer to your tracking link for the most accurate delivery updates. 

Customs: Orders placed within the EU, UK, USA, or Australia are not subject to customs fees. Orders placed outside of these regions may be subject to customs fees, payment of which the recipient is responsible. 

Delays: Delivery may be affected by customs processes, national holidays, international border crossings, postal strike action, and other service interruptions. I appreciate your patience and understanding in these situations. 

PO Boxes: Many couriers (including UPS and FedEx) do not deliver to PO Boxes. Customers using a PO Box for delivery do so at their own risk and are responsible for any resulting delivery failures or delays. Please monitor tracking and contact the courier if action or collection is required to complete delivery

Delivery Issues

Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking, responding to delivery notifications, and contacting the courier directly in the event of delivery issues. As the sender, I do not receive tracking or delivery updates. 

Transit Delays

Monitor your tracking page and contact the courier if any action is required. If there is not clear reason for delay, or you suspect your order has been lost in transit, please contact me at hello@modernmythosart.com.

Collection Notices

If your shipment is sent to a collection point, please confirm the collection address via the tracking page and collect it within the specified timeframe. If you cannot collect, please arrange re-delivery with the courier. Failure to collect by the specified date may result in "Failed Delivery" (see below). 

Customs Clearance

If your shipment requires customs clearance, please follow the instructions provided by the courier or customs office. Customers outside the US, EU, UK and Australia are responsible for any customs fees or import taxes. Failure to complete customs clearance may result "Failed Delivery" (see below). 

Rejected Delivery

If a shipment is refused or rejected on delivery, this is considered "Failed Delivery" (see below). 

Failed Delivery

If delivery fails, your shipment will likely be returned to sender. This can result in significant delays, and may result in total loss. Please monitor tracking closely, and use "Update Delivery" options to resolve issues promptly. 

Items received back will not be stored, re-sold or refunded, but instead will be re-shipped to you (a re-shipping fee may apply). 

Common causes for delivery failures include: Incorrect or incomplete address; Address access issues; Multiple failed delivery attempts; Failure to collect from a designated pick-up point. 

Missing Delivery

If a shipment is marked as "Delivered" by the courier but cannot be located, please follow these steps:

  • Verify that the shipping address provided during checkout is correct.
  • Check secure locations and common areas around the property.
  • Ask neighbours or household members if they may have received the package.

If the package is still missing after taking these steps, please contact me ASAP, providing your order number and any relevant information, such as courier notes.

Please note: I may have to submit a formal claim with the courier in the event of stolen mail. For high-value orders, the courier may contact or visit you as part of their investigation. 

To prevent theft and minimise the risk of missing packages, monitor tracking updates closely and provide instructions to the courier if needed. Many couriers offer free services – such as USPS ‘Informed Delivery,’ DPD ‘myDPD,’ FedEx ‘Custom Delivery,’ and UPS ‘Change my Delivery’ – to help manage delivery timing, rerouting, and other preferences.
