Part Three of the Perseus series illustrates the moment that the hero uses the head of Medusa against Phineus and his men. Resentful of Perseus's marriage to Andromeda, the king confronted Perseus, demanding her return. Feeling threatened, Perseus retrieved the head of Medusa and held it toward them, turning them to stone.
