Production & Materials

I take great care to create wall art that’s made to last a lifetime. Every part of the process — from sourcing to materials to assembly — is chosen with care and attention. Discover the love that goes into your artwork ♥

The Prints

All prints are produced using Giclée technology — the gold standard for fine art printing. This technique uses advanced inkjet technology to spray tiny droplets of ink onto paper with incredible precision, resulting in deeper blacks, sharper detail, and a wider colour gamut than traditional printing methods. Combined with archival pigment inks, the prints offer exceptional colour richness and longevity, resisting fading from sunlight and environmental exposure for over 100 years in ideal conditions. The inks are also water-based, non-hazardous, toxin-free, and eco-friendly.

Everything is printed on a natural white, 200gsm fine art paper with a light texture and matte finish. This gallery-grade stock is particularly well-suited to black and white photography, as it reduces glare and smudging while enhancing depth and detail.

The combination of premium paper, archival inks and Giclée printing makes every Modern Mythos print museum grade — made to be loved for a lifetime.

The Frames

Frames are handcrafted by professional framers using ash wood – a strong yet lightweight choice that’s easy to hang. Choose from black, white, gold or silver in a smooth satin finish, a coated dark grain, or an uncoated natural grain. The gold and silver frames feature a reflective finish that catches the light, mimicking the shine of real metal.

Each frame is assembled in a dust-free environment, fitted with sawtooth hangers and a shatterproof Perspex glaze for safer handling and added UV protection. They're then sealed at the back with eco-friendly tape to help prevent warping, and carefully packed with corner protectors, cushioning, and rigid double-walled boxes.

All paper and wood used in production is ethically sourced from sustainably managed forests, and all packaging is fully recyclable. For more details, see the Sustainability page.
