Digitally restored antique engraving of Trojan prince, Paris. By Giovanni Balestra, after a sculpture by Antonio Canova. Paris was born to King Priam and Queen Hecuba, and so was a prince of the Kingdom of Troy. However it was foretold that the would bring ruin to the city, and so he was sent away as a baby. Later reunited with his parents following divine intervention, Paris went on to abduct Helen of Sparta, the wife of King Menelaus, so beginning the decade-long Trojan War that would bring his prophecy to bear.

As each piece is custom printed and framed just for you, I'm unable to accept the return of unwanted items. In the rare event of transit damage or misprint issues, please contact me with your order number and a photo of the problem to arrange a speedy replacement.
