Digitally restored antique engraving of the bust of Minerva (Athena), the Roman goddess of wisdom, war strategy, justice, law and victory. By French engraver Étienne Baudet. Minerva (Athena in the Greek mythos) is the daughter of Jupiter and Metis, and is considered one of the most important deities in the Roman pantheon. She was depicted as a virgin goddess, typically wearing a helmet and carrying a shield, spear and occasionally accompanied by her sacred animal, the owl.

As each piece is custom printed and framed just for you, I'm unable to accept the return of unwanted items. In the rare event of transit damage or misprint issues, please contact me with your order number and a photo of the problem to arrange a speedy replacement.
