Samson and the lion
This black and white photograph captures a tense scene from the biblical story of Samson, as he is attacked by a lion on his path to Timnah. As described in Judges 14:5-6, the hero of Ancient Israel managed to kill the lion with his bear hands. We see the lion's claws piercing Samson's thigh as his hand pushes back against the beast in a desperate struggle. The dramatic lighting sharply contrasts with the dark background, highlighting the sudden eruption of violence, and underscoring the peril and intensity of the encounter.

As each piece is custom printed and framed just for you, I'm unable to accept the return of unwanted items. In the rare event of transit damage or misprint issues, please contact me with your order number and a photo of the problem to arrange a speedy replacement.
