Digitally enhanced antique engraving of 'Le Triomphe de l'Art' (The Triumph of Art), by French engraver Jules Jacquet after a mural by Léon Bonnat. An allegory for the title, the scene appears to show a youth riding Pegasus toward the heavens — burning torch in-hand, greeted with a laurel crown, and kicking serpents and death at his heels. Through this, we see art as a means of attaining immortality, glory and the admiration of the gods; a triumph of humanity.

As each piece is custom printed and framed just for you, I'm unable to accept the return of unwanted items. In the rare event of transit damage or misprint issues, please contact me with your order number and a photo of the problem to arrange a speedy replacement.
